Patrons of the Lake Community Branch are enjoying the benefits of their newly renovated Library. Even chilly weather could not deter a crowd from showing up on Saturday, March 4 to celebrate at a ribbon cutting and first look inside the new space.
The bright, freshly painted walls with quotes from the community, along with comfortable furniture make this a happy place to spend time. Whether you’re using the updated technology, settling into your new favorite chair to read or type away on a Library laptop, or watching your kids play with the new toys and interactive touch table, you’ll appreciate the care that went into each update. It all adds up to a place that makes it easier to relax, work, and play. There’s even a 24/7 lobby, allowing you to use your Library card to access books, games, and more at any time of the day or night. You can choose to have your holds placed in lockers within the lobby to pick up whenever it works for you. Talk about convenience!
