With the colder weather upon us, winter is the perfect time to curl up with a good book and a warm cup of tea or hot chocolate. Whether you’re looking for a way to keep the kids engaged at home or you just need something to lift your spirits, the Stark Library Winter Reading Challenge is here to help!
How to Register
Winter Reading is open to all ages, and it’s easy to get started! Register your entire family through Beanstack, either on your computer or using the Beanstack mobile app. If you’ve participated in any of our past reading challenges, you may already have an account – just log in and get started!
From January 1st through February 8th log your reading progress and earn tickets for a chance to win some great prizes!
How Do I Earn Tickets?
It’s simple – the more you read, the more tickets you earn! Here’s how it works:
- Log Your Reading: Use Beanstack or pick up a reading tracker bookmark at any Stark Library location.
- Read for 5 Days: For every 5 days you read, you’ll earn a raffle ticket for the grand prize drawing.
- 15 Days: Once you hit 15 days, stop by any library location to pick out a small prize!
- 25 Days: At 25 days, you’ll earn a free book to keep!
You have until February 8 to log your reading, and the grand prize drawings will take place on February 10.
What Are the Prizes?
Participants in the Winter Reading Challenge have the chance to win one of four amazing grand prize packs! The prize packs include a dino den pack, a shark snack attack pack, a snow day survival kit and a ready-set-dine set!
