Use the Beanstack App

Step One: Download the App, opens a new window

Step Two: Set Up the App for Our Library

• Touch Find Your School or Library. Type in “Stark Library (OH)” and touch Sign up!
• Enter your Email or Phone Number, and Password. Follow the prompts to complete Registration.
• Touch Add a Reader for additional family members. An account reader can log for several readers connected to their account.

Step Three: Register for Challenges and Log!

• Touch Discover at the bottom of the screen and register for the 2024 Summer Break challenge. Only challenges that apply to the reader’s age group will appear.
• Touch the Plus Sign (+) to log your reading. Account Creators can log for all family members by selecting the radio button to the left of the name.
• Touch Log to see a running total of what you’ve read.

Use Beanstack in Your Web Browser

Step One: Visit Starklibrary.beanstack.org, opens a new window

• Click Sign In in the top right corner or scroll down and click Register an Individual or Family. Follow the prompts to sign in or create an account.

Step Two: Select the Challenge

• On the Challenges tab, select the reading challenge you want to participate in. It will only show you challenges you qualify for based on age or grade.

Step Three: Log Reading and Activities

• Click Log Reading and Activities in the top left corner.
• Select Log Days to log your reading. Follow the prompts.
  • If you have more than one person listed on your account, you can use the drop down box to select the correct reader.
• Click the X in the right corner to go back to the main menu.
• Select Log Activities to log activities.
  • Choose the activity badge. Mark the correct activity.
  • To select more activities, click the X in the right corner and repeat the steps above.

Step Four: Log for other Family Members

• If you have other family members listed in your account, you can log for them by selecting their name from the top right corner where you see your name or from the drop down box in the Log Reading and Activities menu.
