Lisa Szeles is the Central Selection, Inventory and Processing Manager. Here she shares what her job entails, how
the “central inventory” concept works, exciting things happening in February at Stark Library and more.
Q. I understand the “Central Inventory” concept is new for Stark Library. Can you explain more about it and how it works?
A. It’s easiest to think of Central Inventory as a transit station for the library with materials moving in and out daily. This integral department allows all of our other locations to have the room for the hottest titles by storing materials that may no longer be bestsellers but are still of interest to our patrons.
