History

The Plain Township Board of Education approached the library in 2003 with a proposal to build a branch library that would serve both the public of Plain Township and the students of GlenOak High School. Final agreements were signed in 2005 and the branch opened in September 2006.

Hours

Plain Community Branch is now open with limited hours. Things will look and feel a bit different as we re-open. We are limiting the number of people permitted in the branch, so you may need to wait to enter the building.

Visits are limited to one hour a day, and we ask that you keep our community safe by wearing a mask. Masks are required for entry into the building. Children five and under are not required to wear a mask.
